Crafted from a single slab of solid elm, this live edge desk is a truly distinctive piece that celebrates the wild, unpredictable beauty of one of Britain's most characterful timbers. Each desk is entirely unique — no two slabs are ever the same.

The Wood

Elm is instantly recognisable for its pale, creamy golden tones and dramatically interlocked grain — a wild, swirling pattern that catches the light in a way few other timbers can match. The live edge is preserved along the front, showcasing the tree's original organic outline with natural bark texture and gentle undulations that tell the story of the tree itself.

The Build

The thick solid slab is finished to a smooth, tactile surface that lets the grain do the talking. Paired with black metal painted square steel frame legs, the combination of pale elm and dark metal creates a striking contrast — light, airy, and full of character.
